Animoca to Pay Educators with Revenue from Publisher NFTs Sale
The Publisher NFTs were created by Animoca’s subsidiary and edtech platform TinyTap, with the sale being facilitated by the community-led Web3 education protocol Open Campus. The revenue generated from the sale will serve as upfront and continuous income for the 168 educators on the TinyTap platform. This model allows for better empowerment of content creators in the field of education and publishing.

Impact of Digital Assets on Education
The introduction of Publisher NFTs is set to have a significant impact on education, allowing creators to focus on creating more content. Buyers of the NFTs become co-publishers of the content and can receive a share of up to 80% of the revenue generated by the content. This enables the NFT holders to promote and market the content, creating a mutually beneficial relationship.

Yogev Shelly, CEO of TinyTap, expressed the wider significance of the sale beyond just the financial benefit to creators. Shelly believes that the sale represents a step towards building a future where communities play a pivotal role in shaping curricula and empowering teachers and content creators toward true educational autonomy.

Empowering Creators and Educators
TinyTap, founded in 2012, has become the world’s largest educational games library. The platform has worked with notable publishers such as Oxford University Press, Sesame Street, and Pinkfong. The introduction of Publisher NFTs has given creators greater autonomy and improved earnings, providing a new way to support and empower educators in the education and publishing sectors.

Ultimately, the success of Season 2 of TinyTap Publisher NFTs points to a promising future for content creators and educators as digital assets continue to play a significant role in shaping the education sector.
